Pre-Order

We are pleased to offer our customers the opportunity to preorder a range of upcoming items. Please read the following policy for our terms and conditions.

ETA’s are subject to change and beyond our control as we rely on Manufacturers and then the  Australian Suppliers to provide the stock. Please keep this in mind if you are ordering for a specific date. 

Time for backorder/preorder

The arrival of backorder/preorder items is reliant on the stock arriving with our supplier and the availability of these items can change. This is out of our control and can vary significantly particularly during busier seasons of the year and when certain lines are in high demand. 

Being a small family retailer, sometimes products will become available at other larger retailers before we receive our stock. Unfortunately, this can not be helped and we will not provide refunds for this reason. Please read our cancellation policies and message us if you have any queries relating to backorders/preorders. We do apologise for this, but hoping for your continued support and patience.

CANCELLATION

Pre-orders are ordered specifically in the quantity requested by the customers who place the pre-orders.

As a result, if you choose to cancel your pre-order, you may do so and receive a store credit for the amount you have paid minus a 10% cancellation fee. NO CASH REFUNDS will be offered.

Backorder Policy

We are pleased to offer our customers the opportunity to backorder a range of items that are likely to be rereleased. If you are searching for a recent release product and it is not listed for backorder please contact us and we will be happy to source it for you if we can.

PAYMENT

Payments for backorders are required in full at the time of ordering.

If you order other items with backorder items, we will hold the order until all items are in stock.

We recommend placing separate orders unless you are happy to wait.

When your backorder arrives, we are happy for you to order other items at this time to send together to save on postage. Please contact us so we can ensure you are charged the correct amount for shipping.

LIMITATIONS

Rarer and special items may be limited to 1 per person for a pre-order.

This will be outlined with the backorder displayed on the website.

If you order more than 1 on these items we will only fulfil 1 item for you.

FULFILLING ORDERS

Due to high demand of special items, at times we may not receive enough stock to

fulfil all backorders.

When this occurs, we will fulfil orders by the time of the first order until the allocation is exhausted.

If we don’t have enough stock to fulfil your order, we will notify and provide you a full refund or can transfer it to store credit.

If it has been over a month and we still have been unable to obtain your backorder we may allow a full cash refund. This is at the discretion of JayM’s Place on a per case basis.
